What we collect

Movies Near Me is a cinema discovery site. We do not require an account, we do not ask for personal information, and we do not run advertising or tracking trackers on the site at the time of writing.

When you choose to share your location (via the “Find what’s on near you” prompt), your browser sends your approximate coordinates with that single request so we can return the nearest cinemas. We do not store your location after the request completes.

Local storage

We use your browser’s local storage to remember preferences — for example, your cookie/analytics choice from the banner. Nothing in local storage is transmitted to us; it stays on your device and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Cookies and analytics

We do not set tracking cookies today. If we add analytics or advertising in future, they will only run if you have accepted on the banner. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your site data.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which receives standard request logs (IP, user agent, URL) for security and operational purposes. Cinema directory and showtime data comes from UniqueX RosettaBridge. The optional AI chat feature sends your query to a backend that calls Anthropic (Claude) to generate a reply; the message is not stored on our side.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is normally nothing for us to access, export or delete on your behalf. If you have a question about this policy or believe we hold data about you, contact us via the website operator (Real Big Group).
